I graduated the Licensed Practical Nursing Program! Yay! I made it through! Our graduation was on Friday. What a whirl wind it has all been! This has definitely been one of the craziest times in my life, but it has been so neat in other ways. I am finally a nurse! How crazy is that? I'm not a RN yet, but i'm on the road. I knew that I wanted to do something in the medical field ever since I was a little kid, and now I get to fulfill part of that dream. I feel a sense of relief that this particular nursing programs is over, but in some ways I don't feel like i get much of a break because I still need to get accepted into another nursing program and take 2 more semesters to complete my RN. Also, I graduated on Friday, and tomorrow I start an IV certification class and last thursday, I started a pathophysiology class at Salt Lake Community College for the summer before our semester at MATC even ended. Sheesh! Sometimes it feels never ending! However, I love what I get to learn about and I feel grateful for this opportunity.

Some of my favorite fellow nursing students.

Our nursing class' graduation dinner.

Some of the awesome girls from my class.

Our last clinical of the program at Primary Children's Hospital.

You have no idea how much time I spent in this classroom. On our last day of class, I was almost sad to leave it because I felt kind of attached to it.

A girl's night out! We went to this restaurant called the Melting Pot. It was an awesome fondue place. It was fun to get together with some friends from Hawaii that are here.

Jimmy and his ridiculously long hair :) I kinda like it, to be honest. I think this is the longest his hair has EVER been. He keeps claiming that it has been a goal of his to grow his hair out for locks-of-love. Don't tell him this (because it will probably make him want to do it more) but I hope that he doesn't grow it out that long :)

Our freezing cold easter egg hunt (yeah, I don't think that I'll ever get used to the weather). A bunch of families got together and we had it over at our neighbor's house. They have a huge, beautiful yard and there was even a candy-cannon.

We were able to go to Adi Eror's wedding. It was awesome to see so many friends from Hawaii. It was like a reunion! I already miss hawaii and our friends from there so bad...it was bitter sweet.

This was Adi's cake that I made.

Taylor and the possessed balloon. She finally gets it off and then she hits it away. I could NOT stop laughing!
